Westfall Technik is proud to announce the publication of our 2024 Forced Labor Report for Mold Hotrunner Solutions (MHS), in compliance with Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, effective January 1, 2024. This law mandates companies with a Canadian presence, meeting specific financial thresholds, to report on efforts to eliminate forced and child labor in their supply chains. As a global leader in molded plastic manufacturing, we are committed to transparency and ethical practices.
Applicable to entities with at least two of $20 million in assets, $40 million in revenue, or 250 employees, the Act aligns with our values. Our report details how we ensure supply chains are free from forced and child labor:
- Supplier Code of Conduct: Suppliers must prohibit child and forced labor, with new suppliers signing our Code.
- Due Diligence: We verify employee ages, use E-Verify, and monitor hours for fair work conditions.
- Training: Mandatory employee training covers forced and child labor policies.
- Audits and Monitoring: Annual audits and EcoVadis assessments track compliance and improve practices.
- Grievance Hotline: Confidential reporting (702-829-8681 or ethics@westfall-technik.com) ensures accountability.
As of December 31, 2023, no forced or child labor was identified. Approved on May 30, 2024, our report is now on our website, reflecting our commitment to human rights and ethical sourcing.
